Although extensive
special education services are not available in each school in the
Bavaria District, additional professionals such as the general
educator, school guidance counselor, nurse, school psychologist, and
administrator, collaborate to address each special needs child’s
Individualized Education Program (IEP). Some schools have additional
resource support, such as the teacher of English as a Second Language
(ESL), Literacy Coach, and English/Language Arts (ELA) specialist.
Together, professionals look across their areas of responsibility and
design an appropriate program. |
